(May 15, 2008) (Los Angeles, CA) Productions Branded, a division of Hollywood Branded Inc., has been hired by DreamWorks to oversee all product placement and brand integration for the upcoming film, A Thousand Words.
In the film, Eddie Murphy stars as a blasé guy who learns that he has only 1,000 words left to speak before he will die. A Thousand Words is directed by Brian Robbins and also stars Ariel Winter, Clark Duke and Alison Janney. It is scheduled to be released on January 24, 2011.
DreamWorks hired Productions Branded to provide such services for the film, including product placement and paid integration. The agency will also source backend promotional partners, focusing on the four production areas of props, set, wardrobe and transportation. The results of these efforts could potentially help save the film’s budget thousands of dollars in production costs.
